Three Training Tips
Have you ever wanted a dog but just didn’t get one because of the tough time to train it? When you get a dog training it becomes part of your life with it. Training a dog is important so that your dog does not end up acting like a wild dog. Training is not that hard when done properly. Here are some ways to make training your dog fun and easier.

Be the Alpha Male:

Dogs had a natural instinct to follow the Alpha male. This is because in the wild were they lived in packs there was always the alpha male. That alpha male maintained the order and discipline in their packs. When bringing them home you would need to be the Alpha male or female.

When you act that way towards your dog, the dog will know that there is someone to follow. When that happens, the dog will gain a sense of security and confidence because there is someone to follow. Most dogs even become happy submitting to leader.

Doesn’t mean you have to be the boss means you treat your dogs in a harsh way when training them. It should be just enough that you should establish hat you are the one to be followed.

You can do these by projecting strength through your steady and deep voice and being able to also react calmly when the dog is in a stressful situation also helps. Do remember to give the dog rewards when something good has been done.

Socializing:

The puppy you have should learn how to socialize with other humans and dogs after all the vaccinations. This will help the puppy get to know more about his natural surroundings and all the other people he or she will encounter. This will help a lot because puppies are like sponges that can absorb everything they can see or learn.

The best place to go to are parks, or a friends place. When going to the vet also make the dog know that it’s frightening by petting it. When exposing the dog to kids, also do so calmly to prevent the dog from getting scared from raucous kids.

If your dog gets scared at a new place or another dog, the best way to calm it down is by distracting it. Make the dog think of another thing by playing with it and afterwards give it some rewards.

Be positive:

Instead of being negative when a dog does something bad, try to approach things in a positive way. Being negative can only confuse a dog. When you keep saying “no”, the dog will not understand what the wrong thing it is doing is. Do you think a dog understands “No biting of the electromagnetic remote control”. It’s tough to understand complex things in a different language.

Instead train her by being positive. Show her the things that are all right. Show her that it is all right to answer the call of nature outside by bringing her out and giving rewards afterwards. Show her that it is all right to only chew their chew toys.

Following these three things can help make your life easier training the dog. In the future, it will be both of you having fun.
